      WEDDING
      COLDREY—BAGLIN
Thomson Memorial Church, Terang, was the scene of a very pretty wedding on Saturday afternoon last, and though the rain was incessant a large number of friends of the contracting parties attended. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. J. P. Hamilton.
The bride, Kathleen lsobel Nancie, is the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Baglin, of Terang, and the bridegroom, Arthur Gordon, the younger son of Mr. and Mrs. A. G. Coldrey, of Geelong. The interior of the Church was beautifully transformed with bowls of flowers and made a lovely setting. The gown, of ivory ring velvet showed to advantage on the youthful figure of the fair bride. The bodice was shirred to the waist and the cowl neck-line was finished with a pearl flower brooch which matched her stud ear-rings. The long sleeves were finished with painted cuffs. The slim lines of the frock finished in a train. She wore, a coronet of orange blossom buds, which had been re-made from her mother's wedding wreath. From the coronet her tulle finger length veil edged with niching was arranged. She carried a sheaf of arum lilies. The bride was given away by her father.
The Misses Aileen Baglin (sister of the bride) and Lorna Woods (cousin) made a charming picture as brides maids in their ring velvet frocks of cherry red. They were dressed alike. The long gowns had a short train and were worn with circular shoulder capes and shirred muffs with daphne and thryptomene sprays to match their daphne halos. The trainbearer, little Dorothy Julien (niece of the bridegroom), wore an Empire "gown which was gathered from the yoke and fell to the feet. Short puff sleeves were worn and a muff and halo with daphne sprays. The best man was Mr. R. O'Neill, of Camperdown, and Mr. N. W. Baglin (brother of the bride) was groomsman. 'Mrs. R. C. Harding, of Morwell (sister of the bridegroom), sang "All Joy Be Thine" during the signing of the register.
A reception was held in the Presbyterian Sunday school hall. Mrs. Baglin was gowned in a navy ensemble with lily of the valley spray and velour hat to match. Mrs. Coldrey wore a black silk ensemble with grey squirrel fur and orchid spray and a velour hat to match. The tables were decorated with pink and white camelias in low bowls and the three tiered wedding cake was cut by the bride.
The bride travelled in a brown costume with white pencil stripe and, a velour hat to match. She wore a brown musquash fur coat (the gift of the bridegroom). The bride's gift to the bridegroom was a golf bag and set of sticks.
Before the bride and the bridegroom left by car for a honeymoon tour of the north of Victoria their health was proposed by Mr. A. Hacquoil.
A spontaneous little gesture was made by the Terang Troop of Boy Scouts, who collected umbrellas and formed a guard of honour to the bride and the guests as they were entering the Church, and afterwards the hall.
